S&S Single Bore Tuned Induction

I want to save you guys and gals out there some frustration.The S&S tuned Induction(dual runner).Has many different adapter brackets.I purchased a slightly used one came off a BIG Dog k-9 2007,like mine.Ebay purchase,great price.Installed on bike and could not get it too run rite.Tried jetting carb 10 different ways.No luck. Put stock air box back on with K&N filter runs perfect.Come to find out,after e-mailing BOB at XXX carbs,The mounting bracket plugs off hole for the bowl vent on carb.There is a hex screw under carb that you can remove to allow the fuel bowl to vent.After doing this and re-installing S&S intake bike runs great.

Yep you got the wrong bracket!

yeah the instructions with that intake tell you to remove the bowl vent screw - you have to do that with a lot of aftermarket intakes

with the S&S tuned induction I am currently running .032 intermidiate jet,.078 main.sea level florida,bike runs great.
