S&S Desperado....Rejet or not?

Just installed the old school tear drop S&S on my 117.....will this require re-jetting?? Replaced the factory cover.....

What he said unless you changed the pipes as to. Put a new set of plugs in and run it a bit and see how they look:2thumbs:
If they don't look good get them some glasses and rejet

I had too, I think I am at 31/78. But I changed exhaust and went with the inch thicker K&N.

I changed to a desparado cover as well as Put BCT baffles in ,and I had to rejet.

Yes, the only problem is it makes the side of the bike look dirty after about 300 miles, and if it's really hot, like 90 hot, it will burn the OL toes after about 75 miles, depending on the wind and how hard were rollin. I am going to send them back to Clint this winter and have him bend the end out a bit to try and alleviate that problem. Once I got the .600 cam in and it ran great! But when I put these on it and re jetted I really noticed a difference. Thanks.

Gents....I plan to buy from SS Creations soon and will dyno then for tuning....will ride like this for now.....and see how it burns...

I am running .600 cam with Desperado cleaner and K&N filter...I also am running Stainless Creations Chaos II pipe:2thumbs: I am still at .31 inter. and .76 main....next spring I will probably go up 1 size on the intermediate jet...bike runs great now...but still get a little decel pop... no biggie though....sounds fuckin Ignorant!
