Well i'm rebuilding my 107" motor
(top & bottom)....thought it would be a good time to do a cam upgrade...read some good threads on the 585" upgrade...reliable and performs....while tearing my motor apart I found this...

Got the 600" cam & heavy duty valve springs (stripe)

You better pick it up a notch if you want to keep up with me.
Brad...Jack/azzz....I'm Ok with seeing your tail lights now and then....:eek: I figured just rebuild this small block 107" and start saving my $$$ for the Big Block 124"...then I might be able to keep up with ya :2thumbs:

Your right.....for some reason were always are throwing $$$ into our scoots....to make them better and faster...

What suprised me is my 107" is supposed to have the .520" cam according to the motor I.D.....But I actually have the "SA" special application motor...:2thumbs:

You'll be happy with the 600. You can get alot also from carb, valving and porting. And don't forget the ignition.

Ignition.....is a grey area for me....curently running the thunderheart stock ignition....what would you recommend ?

Thunder Heart has a programable ignition that has worked pretty well for a friend on mine. You will need a laptop.

I beleive my stock thunderheart is laptop programable....at least my shop manual makes reference to it......I think single fire dual coil is the way to go....with laptop programable ignition...it's my next project
