Rubber on wire Corroding

Cleaning around the K9 today I noticed the rubber on a wire is starting to corrode. This is on the starter. What do you guys suggest for now, I was thinking of getting some Heat shrink wrap to seal it up.

Mine was like that to. I think I used ether electrical tape or black RTV sealant.

I've always used liquid electrical tape...any hardware store should carry it.

Pickup some of the 3M mining tape, I'm sure Amazon or eBay would have it.

Here is a silicone waterproof self adhering tape. It would also work and if done right it's very clean looking.

Doesn't matter who you get them from either. They never last unless.....
All the above are good repairs.
We like to replace the grommet, put a lite coat of di-electric grease on it and then cover it with stainless braid capped with dual wall/adhesive lined shrink tube.
