rpm. jets?

some thing i have not seen on here so far!
at what point rpm/mph do the intermidiate & main jets change over?
i know the mains ogment the intermidiate jets but just riding down the road at 50 mph, [light load] fifth gear, then are you into the mains????

It's based on load (engine demand). At cruise speed the intermediate jet is doing most of the work, at full throttle the main comes on line to augment.

yeah I thought the transition was somewhere between 2500 - 3250 rpm - that sort of range
