I have an 08 k9,efi.
It has the rip electronics in it.
It has a rough idle, so that sometimes when I let off the throttle coming to astop, it want to stall out.
Sometimes after starting it, the idle is very rough.

Any thoughts would be appreciate.
And no, convert to carb is not an option.

I just got a 2008 Harley that did that because it wasn't run much. 8 ounces of fuel injection cleaner and 4 ounces of SeaFoam cleared it right up but you may have an adjustment problem. When I looked it up I saw where there was the connector to the injection unit and to take that off, clean it and WD-40 it. That seemed to work for a lot of guys. Good luck.

yep, I had the problem. replaced a throttle position sensor to cure. however, you will need protune to set the proper base voltage. BTW it wasn't that I was experiencing a rough idle like a misfire but that the idle tended to drop below the 1100 rpm zone so low it would act like it was going to die.

exactly -- mine does actually stall out from it now and again -- I just watch it and give it a little extra gas with the throttle till I can get some time to really work on it -- probably after biketoberfest trip.
