Road Repair

What's with that recycled tire / rubber / junk that they use to fill cracks in the road? I about spun out on a curve on the ride home today in the rain. When wet the road patch is as slick as ice. Obviously who ever invented this crap was not a biker. Wondering how many other states use this poor method of road repair?

Virginia does it. Hot tar in the asphalt crack = slick ass spot in that road.:bang:

I hate to state the blatantly obvious, but move south and you guys won`t have to deal with that kind of problem. Here in the south we ride all year and the roads don`t have any ice related cracking beating the hell out of the pavment, also the climate allows the women to wear less clothing, (always a benefit), and by-the-way did I mention the women, the beautiful women?!
Oh yeah, I always mention the beautiful southern Women for they know to gravitate to the warmer regions. God Bless Them!
Take care.
