I was able to see them in Tulsa in 1984. Fkn amazing show. Dave was off the hook n Eddy tore it up....great memories.

Yeah, another album would have been really nice. There's a whole room full of tapes in his studio. Who knows, maybe they'll release some in time. His son Wolfgang is working on a solo album. From the clips i heard online, it sounds pretty cool. Not really VH sound, but his own. He's playing all of the instruments on the album, and singing i believe. Looking forward to it. That's a nice collection you got there. Did you build the 5150 guitar?

Fun story: the Bertinelli’s are from Shreveport. I went to Highschool with Valerie’s brother Pat. Back around 1990-91, my Nextdoor neighbor’s daughter who I grew up next to since I was 4 yrs old Lynn Wainwright married Pat Bertinelli. All of Van Halen came to the wedding and the reception. My mother and Mrs Wainwright were talking to Valerie & Eddie and playing with Wolfgang who was about 2 months old at the time. Valerie made the comment she wished she had brought the nanny. My mom reaches over and picks up Wolfgang and tells Valerie I’ll watch him go have fun. Mrs Wainwright says to Valerie,” she’s raised 5 boys not 50’ away from me, she’s my next door neighbor she can handle this little one”! And Valerie and Eddie go off into the crowd. I was stunned. I asked my mom after we left, do you have any idea who the babies was or the parents. My mom just said, “ no but that was the cutest baby”.

Ya I did the 5150. That was right before I sprayed it with lacquer and sold it. I just finished this body after topping it with a maple Burl. I am at my happiest when I am polishing on something, lol. I saw your tag and just knew you are a VH fan.
