Ridgeback wont start, ehc lights lit up?

Hello all... I went on a memorial ride for a buddy on saturday, everything ran perfectly... Went out to garage this morning to go to work, plugged the key in and switched her on and nothing! No headlight, neutral light, etc. wtf... So I pull the seat off only to notice that the lights on EHC are all lit up (with key in off position)? Not knowing how long they were lit (probably since last turned key off) I didnt want to leave em on while at work so I pulled the POS terminal off and hooked it back up (for shits and giggles) and the lights on EHC went out except two (green flashing and orange solid) then headlight came on and seemed to be normal, but looked down and key was in off position (weird)... Left work early, came home, hooked battery up, all lights on EHC on again except one I think. So I unhooked it, turned key to on position, hooked battery up and lights were out except two again (green flashing and orange solid which i believe is normal) so i started bike,fired right up! but as soon as i turned her off all the lights on EHc were back on and nothing worked again, the only way i can get her to start again is hooking up the battery with key in on position! Please help!!!

P.S. I have the updated EHC (yellowish gold housing) not sure if this helps....
