1) Ride hard, ride fast, ride safe and stay away from assholes. 2) Collision leads to serious injury or death. 3) If you are timid you shouldn't ride.

as said before, doesn't matter whose fault the wreck is, the biker is still the loser. ride safe- ride alert!

Always keep an eye out for the cagers and be cautious. But if the first thing a person thinks of when they get on a bike and ride is having a wreck or someone running over them.........That person does not need to be riding. I ride because I love it. Plus they say God looks after fools and children.....I'm in both catagories :D

I try to always be on the alert, but it seems that things will happen when least expected. One day I hopped on my bike to go 2 blocks away, and got hit by a woman in a SUV. There wasn't anything I could've done to avoid it, but I wasn't riding as defensive as if I were going on a longer trip.

I can't tell you the number of times I'm sitting at an intersection and see a bike rider go through the intersection WITHOUT looking left and right at the cross lanes. Just blows me away.

Be defensive at all times. :flag: :flag: :flag:

You Bet! Ride Defensively, try to anticipate ANYTHING (cagers especially young women in SUV's with cell phones in their ears). Give yourself space to escape, watch for critters jumping out. Look for potholes and debris in the road. And review MC safety courses and vids often!

Ya JUST CAN'T BE TOO CAREFUL!
