Respect & understand our veterans

In no way am I making light or expressing any disrespect when I say that I have a minute and better understanding of what the veterans go through during fireworks. Were sitting here talking and we here what sounds like fully auto gun fire outside. Then we hear shotgun blasts. If you want a better understanding of a veterans life with PTSD, watch "War at Home" with Martin Sheen, Kathy Bates & Emilio Estevez. Truly an awesome show.

Thanks for your service and for pointing out that movie. Not really a movie guy but I will watch it. Just watched "13 hours: secret soldiers of Benghazi"

Sometimes you really want to forget bad times in battle, and then the sounds of fireworks sends ya right back to the fighting! New a man, a veteran of Korean conflict, that always turned the music up so loud on the 4th, that ya could hear it 3 doors down the street. everyone understood and respected him by not having the really loud fireworks. nobody complained about the music either! ( that man was one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet!):patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::patriot::old2::old2:

Thank you all for your responses. However, sadly I was unable to serve my glorious country due to medical reasons. I just wanted to make the statement so those lucky people would know that others are fully aware and respectful of our veterans needs or likes. Thank you all for serving our country.
