I recently (Feb) picked up an 11 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab z71, All Terrain 6.2l. Totally happy with it. I've had several friends take it for a spin, all of them came back impressed and started looking for one of their own. I've seen rock solid performance so far. Jmo.

I recently (April 2014) picked up a 2013 F-150 4 X 4 V-6 Ecobst Lariat (V-6 Turbo Charged) Loaded, espcially with nevagation system, Telephone paring, leather interior and more. I had a 2008 F-150 Lariat with 165,000 miles. The New One cost 39K they gave me a 5K bonus and 13K trade in. So, I financed 21K plus the exended 100K warranty and I loved the deal.

2011 Z71 just about all one needs in a truck. the only problem with this one was some kind of valve that made it shift rough. Had it changed out under warranty and all has been good for the last 75,000 miles. had a 2007 before that and never had a problem with it other than the dam tires wore out after 70,000 miles. Nothing wrong with Fords, just the company prefers GM for some reason. I puy alot of highway miles on my trucks and rarely use the 4wheel drive.

ram 1500 or 2500 lariat is a great option. plenty of power- leather-8 speed auto-air adjustable suspension-and rides like a caddy!

Personally, I've owned a Ford F-250, two Dodge Rams and now a Toyota Tundra TRD. All were/are great trucks. Liked the looks of my Dodge Rams the best but I got a hell of a deal on my 2011 Toyota Tundra a few years back and the truck has been perfect. And with 381 hp and the monster crew cab and available leather, etc., they are beautiful trucks for the money. My suggestion is to play the dealers against one another and be open to whomever gives you the best deal. Tell them you're looking around at Fords, Chevy's, Toyotas etc. and see how hungry they are.

Yes, I'm the first one on here to put up a foreign truck, but don't knock it until you've at least looked at them. America makes great trucks but they are awful damn proud of them when you go to buy one. Plus the resale on my Toyota is through the roof right now should I ever care to sell it. Just take your time and do not fall in love with any one truck until the deal is made.

Best of luck - always exciting looking at new vehicles.

X2, I have a 2010-1500 Sport Quad 4x4 right now but my next one will have the 8-speed and air ride:2thumbs:

Are you going to be towing?:confused:If so consider tranny cooler, lower gears and class 4 hitch:whoop:

Ram 1500 all the way. I've had 5 GM's and the Ram has a better ride, nice interior and lots of storage space especially with the Rambox. Hemi is a little hefty on gas but there is other engine options. The new GM interior is a total copy off of Dodge.

Can't help you out with that one. I drive a 98 Chevy plain jane pick up and ain't paying the price they are getting for these new trucks. I would rather have another dog in the garage.

I've been looking at the 2014 Ford Lariat supercab with the EcoBoost also. The crewcab is alittle more money but I don't need the crewcab version. If you wait till the 2015's come out they will have led's and aluminum frame and body making it lighter.
You might just find a deal on the 2014's if you do some research.
Good Luck
