Replacing rear brake lights

Hi,,
I am thinking of replacing or keeping my lights. I broke one and I was going to replace it. They are led's. How much the change over the years?

Has any one try bullet led on their bikes. any opinions are appreciated.

I pulled my rear break lights drilled out the struts and placed leds in the tips of them. I will try to post a pic but my camera and the pavement kicked the shit out of each other.

I have a extra bucket laying around, but the led is expensive around $65.00 and the lenses are standard HD which run around $3.
