My petcock only works in the on position and Reserve does not work. Never has??? Does anyone know if it is repairable. I have taken it out but i cannot figure out how to get it apart. Would love to fix it if possible.

OR does anyone have one used they are willing to part with and if so how much?

Can't be anything more than debris in it, althoough I have had some brass fittings that were not completely drilled out so you never know. With the liner they put in these tanks you might have a piece of liner jammed down in there. Stupid to ask but are you 100% sure you have it in the right position for reserve? Take it off, set to reserve and work a piece of fine filament wire through each end of the valve along with compressed air until it is clear.

OK, picture attached, I do not see any debris getting past the screen but I cannot reomve the screen from the body W/O damaging it???

Yeah the screen is really tight so you have to be careful but just twist it in a circular motion clockwise and counterclockwise wuile slowly pulling outward on it and it will come out. Your on the right track to stay persistent

Ok, I will try this but I have yet been able to get the outer screen off. I do not want to damage the plastic thaat the screen is in and it won't come out so I cannot get to the brass tubes therein. I have attached a photo, don't know if I did that part (attaching pic correctly).
Also I forgot that the reserve is actually a small hole at the bottom of the brass tube behind the screen. It is likely that hole is blocked. Check it first and that might be all you have to do.

Does the petcock lever actually move in every direction off, res and on - or is it geting stuck?

If it does, can you keep the lever in the res position and power some air in for the petcock outlet see if that clears up the path.

The lever moves and i am going to try to get the screen off so I can try to get air through. I will advise when this is done.
