Removed my Carb to replace with xXx

So I removed the SuperG today to return to Bob so he can send me my xXX! Used Gas Man's How To remove your Crab thread as a reference. Didn't want to accidentally remove the motor by mistake ( Seat that was for you).
Drained the bowl. This cup was clean, more on this in my next post!!:angry: :angry: :bang:

Question to those who have the xXx do I need to take this off before I return to Bob??

take the screw and bracket off his exchange carbs dont come with it

Remove the throttle bracket and hold for your new Triple X.
Glad to see your carb bowl was clean. That tank screen works pretty good huh?

Remove everything... the cable bracket and the jets. Why not just add them to your collection.

Also, sounds like you need to do like I did and get a filter... I posted about this a while ago on the other site and brought that post here... get a Pingle Fuel Filter Its crazy to think they don't run one anyway...

There is also a the old school filter that Al is running.

Either way call Vickie, I'm sure she can get both...

Gee...the company sends you jets in the xXx. Seems like the right thing to do is to send your core back to them with the jets in it......

The photo didnt pick up all the dirt. I had grit city when I drained the bowl. See my other post showing the tank screen. If you all don't have an in line filter i would get one.

i really doubt that they reuse the jets.....to cheap of an item. never know what the customer has done to em. bet they have a trash barrel full of used jets!
