Remember 911

We should do a "What we're you doing when 9-11 happened?" I was at work listening to Howard Stern. When the second plane hit, and everyone realized it was a terrorist attack, I started getting really nervous. We were only a couple miles from Three Mile Island.

I was walking into work. We always had a tv with the news on. I walked and ask "What freakin movie is that" At that exact time. The second plane hit. That was when I realized shit got real. My wife worked next to a federal building. Everybody was forced to leave.

I was building a deck with my Dad, school had just restarted and was working for him (he was a contractor) anytime I could fit it in. We had just turned the radio on (usually music) when the news came on. The homeowner came out (he was a retired SEAL) and told us to come in and there was something big going on.
A few days later I was in the recruiters office (as soon as they could see me) to go make them pay for what they had done.

I don’t exactly recall but I am pretty certain I was just getting ready for work when the shitshow started. Was a terrible day in our history. But my God how this Country united. 22 years later & it’s a crying shame what has happened to the USA.
