that light on an efi is telling you that you've lost your "ideal" fuel/air ratio that the CLEFI is trying to maintain. When I used to loose mine I never has any power issues at the same time.

Has anythign been done to the bike recently (service etc) -- check for air leaks in the intake system is where I'd start on that.

Go do an introduction and you'll get more help, but in the meantime...

Try and swap the two relays HORN and EFI SENSOR POWER with one another. They are located under the LH side cover on Bulldogs. These are pluggable relays.

You need to check all the connections for the O2 sensors. I would add some dielectric grease in the O2 plugs as well. Check the small ground and +battery wires crimped wires for tight crimps that feed power to the EFI module. Also check to make sure your voltage regulator bolts are tight...don't break em off. Does the fuel pump sound good when it runs or does it squeal when you press the RUN button.

There is free diag software from S&S called ProTune2 that you can use to connect your laptop to the ECM module and look at any trouble codes and view the dash panel screen of all the EFI sensors. The ECM's are locked from BDM so you can't change everything but you can view many things.

Make sure the bike is in NEUTRAL when running ProTune2. And always disconnect battery power when working on the system. Follow the EFI reset info on the sticker under the seat after you connect the battery.

engine light

:flag:You may have some crap in your fuel causing the fuel injectors to plug up. Have them cleaned and put a 30 micron fuel filter in. Had this very problem with my 2009 efi k-9. Chased the problem for a while and talked with s@s and finally changed my injectors and installed a fuel filter and so far its been good. Had to do a couple of adaptive map fuel merges to get the engine light to go out . Hope this helps.:2thumbs:
