Rear wheel is wobbling when riding

Hello every one,
Yesterday took out my Ridgeback and vent to ride with my neighbor. My neighbor was riding behind me and noticed that my rear wheel was wobbling a lot. When I'm riding, I don't feel any wobbling from the rear. I checked the locking nut, it's still tight. Does it sound like a bearing to guys? What should I need to check, before take my DOG in to the shop?

might want to pull the rear tire/wheel and have it checked for true. has the bike ever been hit from the rear? are you the original owner?

wheel or tire??? I'd set up a dial indicator & check the run out of the wheel... side to sid run out & the diameter.. if its ok then & say the trie is the issue.. maybe its not on the bead properly...

This bike have never get hit. I'm a original owner.
My neighbor said the wheel was wobbling. Right now I don't have a lift yet to check the run out. I might have to take this DOG in to the local shop.

before all that, pull the wheel and take a look at the bearings (three).....

Seems to me that if it was bearings you would REALLY hear it.

I would ask how new is the tire and then ensure it was seated properly on the rim. Put it on your jack and rotate it and see what's wrong. May be that it's way out of alignment. But either way you would definately feel it at speed. Sometimes if you see a tire that looks like it's wobbling it just mud marks or similar on the tread giving you the impression. What does it feel like when you are on the highway/freeway?

Maybe your rim/hub is affected by the recall..??
