Rear Wheel , Almost there !

I spent about an hour yesterday and maybe that much today, with a little to go on the rear wheel. I picked up a Mother's Cone polishing sponge yesterday thinking it would be good for the flat areas on the wheel and it was faster.
I wiped the mag and aluminum polish on the cone attached to a high speed drill and applyed it a few times wiping off as it turned black ( light pressure). Maybe 3 times total. I hand rubbed the places( almost finished ) the cone would not get in to polish, again 3 or 4 times. By now it is looking pretty good, and I wiped it all down with Weiman's Silver Polish !!! ( At $3.47 @ Walmart ) I just wiped it down and wiped it off after I had polished it with the mother's mag polish. It seemed like the more I rubbed the more it shined. I still like a little getting it like I want it to be, but soon.. I like the Weiman's Silver Polish and it does not leave a film, you be the judge.

You know I really think about my fingers throbbing and those sharp points. I am wearing those blue rubber gloves now. Actually , I really enjoy this kind of stuff, like bringing new life back into old stuff that no one else wants to mess with fixing back up. I enjoy waxing , polishing the little detail things too. After I got the front wheel looking better, I really noticed the back wheel needed it too. I cleaned them up much better than when they were when I got it, but this is like bringing new life back into it. It ranks right up there with replacing that piece of crap EHC. I just needed the right stuff to do
it. The hardest part is getting off the concrete after a couple to several hours in the same position. If you all lived close by I would have you lined up in my driveway to shine up those scooters, of course you would have to leave the keys with them.:D

Looks good. I spent 14 hours cleaning my bike after Sturgis/Buffalo Chip and I still need more cleaning on the front tire.
