Rear Brake Caliper Input wiring Route

Energy One

I am finally back to assembling my bike. Put on the rear caliper and brake lines but do not remember how the input wire is routed after it goes under the oil tank. Not the brake line but the electrical input on the caliper. Does it follow the brake line on the left side and cut over after the shocks or cut over under the oil tank? I think it hooks up just behind the foot brake below the coil cover. The other wire hanging is the tag light I dis-assemble so I could tear the bracket apart to clean
Thanks,
Neil

Anyway here is where I stand now...not much left to do...:whoop:

Neil, my brake light and tag light wires follow the brake line till it gets in front of the oil tank and rear fender then it goes up behind the battery box and mates with the turn signal wires where they come out and together they plug up to the harness on the rightside of the battery.
This is my 05 Chopper so your 07 Pro-sport may be all different.

Thanks Raywood....
My tail lights come off the rear fender and meet the tag light wire just like in your pic by the battery box but the prints show the input coming off the caliper being tied into the right hand front handle bar controls. A orange and black wire connection... Don't see one up there like this...yet anyway..:2thumbs: I have pulled out the EHC so all that wiring and the EFI wiring is just hanging out and the fender is off to boot....It will happen together as more parts of the puzzle go back in.....
Thanks

I don't think the rear and front brake switch are mated together. The manual states that for 05 and newer the switchs are tied together inside the EHC.

I noticed that the wiring schmatics are the same for the Chopper and Bulldog but the other models are seperate! Just an observation.

Thanks for the info Raywood.....
I was correct in it hooking up where I said in the first post "I think it hooks up just behind the foot brake below the coil cover.".
I just ohm-ed the cable connector to the input point on the EHC cable to verify continuity.

Raywood,
You are correct on the 2 switches being tied together inside the EHC. I should of stated that is where I was looking at it tied together and following back the handlebar connector and looking for the other connector still....Even though I thought I knew.

I guess I am back to my original question of:
How the input wire is routed after it goes under the oil tank seeing how it is going up by the front foot brake switch under the coil. Does it follow the brake line on the left side and cut over after the shocks or cut over under the oil tank and then along the frame rail?
Thanks again,
Neil

Guess I forgot there was a brake activation wire coming out of the front brake pedal. Still don't know why they would need one coming out of the pedal and then still have the pressure switch coming out of the caliper unless I'm missing something! Need some of those mechanic experts on here to tell us about it.

But when I sealed up all my wiring I remember that the wires from the front (VR, crank sensors) run along the from rail to just under the oil pump then some split off and cross over and some continue back but don't know which is which. But did find this nice image in the manual and it shows where all the connectors are positioned on both of our models. Notice #1 & 5.
Check it out. :D
