Reading spark plugs

good as always Gas Man - a couple questions if I may?

it says to only remove plugs when the engine is cool - does that mean if you are fitting a new carb for example, and you are going to use the plugs for checking the mixture, you have to keep waiting for the engine to cool before pulling them?
Also, how do I find out which plugs will be suitable in my bike? I assume this is in the manual but I don't have one yet although I do have one on order?
Many thanks
Lee

ps Gas Man - why have your rep points gone down to 5??? is this because you are now an admin man??

Lee... good call... I missed that part about the cool motor.

Its probably a liability thing so you don't burn your vageen.

I think you'll find most of us just use the champs or autolites. If you get into Sul power and mods then you may have to look into different temp plugs.

And I'm not sure what's up with my reps... I guess I loose face for going into management... :job:
