What does everybody wear when riding in the rain, cold or both?
I have leathers and chaps for the cold, not great but does ok; but my rain gear sux. I usually still end up drenched even with my rain gear.

not enough time 4 riding
I have a Tour Master Elite two piece rainsuit. I have the Nomex panels on the inside of the calf to protect the suit from the exhaust pipe heat. Of course, most of the time when I need the rainsuit it is back at the house

I also have a heated jacket liner from Aeorstich for cold weather.

I carry the First Gear rain outer shell (both jacket & pants). Just the shell as it packs very small and therefore have no problem taking it anywhere for use in both winter and summer. Only modification I have made to it is adding a leather patch over the entire inside right calf for exhaust protection. It's just easy to pack it and can wear it over anything I have on, any time of year.

However what I wear underneath for insulation will vary on conditions. I got the First Gear jacket big enough so it will fit over (barely) my leather riding coat. The pants will fit over my leather chaps and jeans. For the really cold days I add underneath a Gerbing's heated jacket liner and gloves. This has kept me warm and dry down to 10 degrees F.

Oh yeah, when it gets that cold I have wind-proof fleece which goes over my face and ears with an half helmet or I just wear the 3/4 helmet with full face shield.

I've got FirstGear jacket and pants, not sure which type though. They both fold into a little pouch that's made into them, and have a little tag on the back that says Scotchlite. They don't work well at all.

Just figured out I've got the First Gear Rainman suit. If I recall correctly it was around $140-$150 new... Anyway... It doesn't work.

For cold weather ... I wear Under Armour. Absolutely love it. Way better IMO than anything else Ive ever used. The stuff aint cheap but it sure does the job. Great mobility, & ya dont feel like ya have long johns on, or "bulky". Most of the time when I have it on, you couldnt tell lookin at me. I just put it under my jeans. Wear the bottoms, & long sleeve top. The normal UA gear is pretty good but, the "cold gear" UA is toasty.

Great Topic

Last ride in under 40 degrees at 75mph with no long underwear for about 170 miles and I was one cool puppy

I will continue this thought in the Group Buy section

I wear firefighter bunker gear that my cousin gave me. It's pretty bulky and heavy but it's the only thing that I could find that doesn't melt on my pipes.
