radar dector mounting?

I just bought an escort S2 detector. The stock mounting is suction cups on the windshield.

Has anyone sucessfully had one stay on? I am thinking of super-gluing the suction cups as well but wonder what other people have done to mount a radar dector.

I've been using these RAM mounts for over 15 years. You will likely be able to hear or see the flashing lights or audio alarms from your detector over the road noise. I've been doing it for years on my touring motorcycles.

Definitely Ram mounts.
I took my handlebar mount and used shrink tube on it and the U-bolt so it wouldn't scratch the chrome on my bars.
