Quick 4 Day Project

Hey guys, here is something that almost slipped through my fingers. I went to to a body shop owned by some friends of mine, down in Oklahoma. My old stompin' grounds! This was a collaborative effort between me and the shop. They did all of the body work and prep, base (black), clear coat, cut and buff. I just slid in the middle and applied the artwork, which took me 4 days to complete. 4 LONG days! I had to leave before the parts were even cleared, so I never saw them finished. Much less back on the bike.
It's funny because I left Wichita making sure I had extra batteries for my digita camera. But I forgot my camera! So no pics of the process, sorry.
Luckily my client was able to meet me at the Iron Lightning show, and be part of my display. So I was elated to finally get some pictures of the bike. It turned out so cool all put together. And it grabbed alot of attention at the show. Enjoy!!!

I'm glad this made it to our party and I got to see it too!
So beautiful - more so in person!

When you said it was a quick project I didn't know what to expect. Of course, I knew it would be cool but I didn't expect it to be so elaborate.

I need to send you my pics of it as well.

Excellent work as always and I must say, whoever cleared the bike did a great job too. Rarely do you see a clearcoat, cut and buff that appears to be without any imperfections. This certainly looks like one of those rare jobs.

Everytime I see your work Ed, I can't believe how nice it is. I bought an extra set of tins just to modify and have you paint them. Problem I have to save the cash first. :) But you can bet when I get it, I will have a set on there way. :2thumbs: Keep up the great work.
