I cranked up the bike after stoping for a cold one and proceded to drive down the raod and it spit and sputtered like it was running out of gas and the speedo went nuts, I down shifted and tried to keep it running after a few seconds of this it cleared up and ran perfect the rest of the day, any ideas what caused this, seemed to be electrical with the speedo going nuts but I'm really not sure, any ideas?

Ignition switch ,You may need a new one.

Don't keep any keys on your key chain for the bike either.

Make sure your battery cables are tight. If you have a heavy keychain on your key, Take it off. Keychains like to pull your key back to the off positoin.
