My brother bought the BDL open primary for a soft tail 96-06/ 950s part number, it is off set for a bike with a smaller tire. He has a 04 Pit bull 107 left side drive, I can eyeball it and tell he needs one that is a straight and not an off set, Anyone know the part number for the kit he needs from BDL or the Part number for the proper back plate?

There should be NO offset if it is a smaller tire version. Usually what happens to tires that are 240 and up is the frame has a transmission offset which is moved over anywhere from 1/4" to 1 1/2". So what you really need is a BDL with a 1" offset IF you have a 240-250 rear tire. If you have a 180-200mm rear tire the offset should not exist at all.

The drive if its made for a Harley shood not have offsets the spacing for a
drive to go on a Bigdog is done at the motor and all you do is mount the drive and measure the offset and buy the correct spacer, least thats the way we dodne it for years with wide tires
