Question regarding Stock Handlebars/Grips/Foot pegs Size

Are the stock BDM handlebars a size that is NOT compatable with after market handle bars ( Burly Slammer/Arlen Ness/etc..) ?

Foot pegs and handle bar grips, are they a different size that like Arlen ness grips/foot pegs ?

Are the BDM foot pegs male mounts larger than a after market footpeg mount ?

They are not comparable. If I'm not mistaken the bdm proprietary bars are a larger diameter. Unless of coarse they are made spacifically for the bdm bars aftermarket will not fit. 03 and earlier had bars that you could get aftermarket stuff for.

Regarding bars and grips-not compatible; change bars to stock harley 1" and you can use anything on the market, and you'll even be able to trash the junk stock BDM switches. Expensive but a nice upgrade. Pegs are also BDM specific, but if you see something in the Kuryakyn catalog you like, they also make an adapter kit.
