Pros and cons for tear down and clean

I have decided against taking it all apart. I've ridden it about 200 miles and it rides so nice.. Hate to open a can of worms just to get it spiffy clean. I just get envious seeing bikes like dents and RC's makes me jealous!! Their bikes are super clean! So I've been polishing on bad weather days. In all honesty I'll prob miss some stuff and won't get it as shiny as my buddy the prof polisher but I think I need to see the big pic here. Do I wanna ride this spring or reassemble a bike and chase down bugs and the like.

I thank that's a good choice. Ride and clean, ride and clean especially this first year. Then after a few years tear it apart.

You have to ride it to get it dirty.

I actually enjoy cleaning mine and I find it therapeutic but with that said I'm not going to take it apart to clean it. I chromed a ton of parts and the only thing that ever gives me a problem is polishing the fins. They are awful!!!

Liferider made a handy dandy little fin polisher out of an electric fillet knife. Lemme try to find his vid....
