Project Number??

Can anybody tell me if the project # is the same as the vin.#. I need to get the paint code for my 06 Mastiff which is black cherry. When I did a search it said to call the dealer and have this number available.Thanks gang.

Yes it is.
My project number is the same as the vin number as far as the number go. It is located on the neck of the bike.

I thougth the project number was on the neck of the frame. When I got the paint code for my K9 I was told to give them the number on the neck.

On mine the Vin number is on the right side of the frame and the project number is on the left.

I stand corrected. The vin number is on one side and the project on the other side as well. My project number is the same as the vin number as far as the number go.
