It looks like many of you are pretty good at wrenching on the big dogs and have a lot of knowledge about them. I've had my dog for over two years now (2005 Pitbull) and have not had any mechanical problems with it. I found this forum about 2 weeks ago, and have been reading many of the threads, especially the service type stuff. After reading all this stuff, you would think my bike would not even start being that i haven't adjusted anything, changed any rocker boxes, put new jets, etc....
I've been happy with way it's been running, i bought it used with 2500 miles on it, i've put on the rest, about 7600. Like i said, i've had no problems with it. I've been taking it to the same shop here since i bought it, they say everything looks good on it.
Can someone tell me if there are some things that are a must as far as performance and dependability?
Sorry for the long intro, but i'm new to all this information. And i wouldn't say that i'm the best mechanic on the block, but i will find a way to get the stuff done, even if it costs.
Thanks.
