Primary Oil leak

Has any one had primary oil drip off the shocks after a ride? Can a starter O ring cause this? Where else could it come from?

Starter itself can leak oil or yes O ring. Does your primary have a vent on the back side of it? It's very small on the back side towards top just in front of transmission. Make sure it is Primary oil and not transmission so you are looking in the right place. Gear oil has that Hypoid smell to it.
