Thanks Gas Man! Just happen to see that one, I hope I can handle this task! Any other pointers on removing the clutch basket? The tourdue on the for bolts on the out side? What about putting it back together?
Check the how to section. I believe there are a few threads on clutch basket replacements and such.. Its not that bad. You're half way there now. You will also need to look at the clutch rod adjustment as well.
went out and gave her hell! rode about 40 good miles. pulled in the garage and let her still for awhile. I had one drop or fluid smaller then a dime. Think I should be satisfied?
As stated it shouldn't leak a bit. If you are satisfied that the primary is no longer leaking then check you oil lines under the tank and see if they are sealed. If not pull them and use some goop or teflon tape on them as well. Could be oil leaking from these hoses and running down one of the hoses. Mine have leaked before to to poor swedging on the oil fittings.
