Primary Inspection cover gasket?

I know it's not a fluid, but figured this was still the best location for the post. When I had the starter rebuild, I had adjusted the clutch and it wasn't working right. I put it all back together, and then pulled the primary cover off and cleaned it all out. I found a piece of what looked like the primary cover gasket in with the clutch disks. The gasket on there looked just fine so must have been from the previous owner.

Anyways, I put it all back together and pulled the insepction cover off. Someone had gone crazy with silicone sealant. I stripped all that off, but now I'm stuck trying to find a gasket for the inspection cover. I know I can cut one to size, but I'd rather just get a couple precut at this point.

Where can I find them, and what's the part number?

Gasket number for a 2008 is 3027G-DSSC ($2.50) and the Chrome Inspection Cover is 3027-DSSC ($82.50). Call Amy at Strokers to order it from Baker. She'l have the gaskets unless she sells out.

I know you said you want to buy one. But going to Auto Zone and buying a sheet of gasket materal, tracing your cover and holes onto it and cutting it, is all it takes. I did that no leaks!

Either make a new gasket or buy one. The 3rd time I reused mine I broke the corner of the cover. I found a new cover on ebay for $25 and will use new gaskets every time I take it off.

Get it from baker, make your own out of paper gasket maker, clean it bone dry and use silicone. And of the above will work. I always try to use the factory gaskets unless Im having a problem with it.
