Power commander or fuel pack help!!!!!!

Need some advise on something I don't know much about. I need your advise on power commander or fuel pack or whatever else something might be called that will work. I own an 08 K-9 EFI and I just bought a set of Hooker troublemaker Darkside pipes. If I'm not mistaken the reason you need a power commander or fuel pack on EFI is to shut off(close) the oxygen sensors that are on our stock pipes. So what are my options? Let me know what I can do to accomplish this?

Let me also add some things. The main reason I am looking for aftermarket pipes are more for looks and sound. For instance, I have a 2002 R1 and when I bought the bike new I did some research and if I put a full exhaust system on that bike then it would have flats spots at certain RPMS. So I didn't want the flat spots so I just went with a carbon fiber slip on for looks and sound and loved it. So enough of the Jap bike. What I am getting at with that story is I really don't know much about V-twin motors when it comes to Mods. So I don't even know if that is anything I need to worry about. I have read about some peoples pipes robbing torque. Just in my mind the BIg dog with stock pipes is too quiet for a 117 CI motor. One thing that I do know about V-twin is a 117 CI motor is a pretty good size motor.

So back to the subject what are my options. What are my cheapest option that will work? Can anybody also give me an idea of what you spend to get this done and where you bought it? Also, I am pretty good at working on things and figuring it out. I do my own wrenching on my bikes:2thumbs:

gas man I also put pipes on my road king, went with the power comander due to the fact it is more compatable for future upgrades, like cams, heads, biger throtle body.. I was told the fuel pak from V&H wasn't able to do as much mods, it works fine if you only put pipes & air filter on hope that helps. I think my power comander was around 300.00, the HD shop should be able to help more than me, but if you dont change the fuel map with adding new pipes & air filter it will pop & stumble, the fuel pack or what ever you decide to use helps correct the air/fuel ratio, helps with the torque lose. does your new pipes have a cross over pipe? or thay true duals? my road king lost some of it torque when I installed the V&H true duals but I had cut down the baffles in my D&D mufflers, did the washer thing listed for back pressure & adjusted my power comander fuel mixture, works great now, if you got a lap top if you use the power comander is very easy to set up

The O2 sensors are pretty standard in size and threads. I would think any auto supply store, Harley and anyone who sells pipes would have bungs. You can purchase the pipes with bungs in them already for the most part, just have to ask for O2 sensor ready. To weld them in would probably cost $50-70 and not to mention if they were already coated pipes.

power commander vs fuel pak

Neither.
Not compatable with BDM's proprietary programs. We recently converted a Bulldog F.I. to 124" . Made a program that worked extremely well . Bike is pushing about 134 hp @ rear wheel ! Tons of torque! We had to work directly with S&S to develop the program for us. By the way when you contact S&S to get a different program they will ask you for the VIN and motor number which then gets passed on to BDM and yes they will void your warranty. My customer didn't care he just wanted more power and we gave it to him.The EFI on Big Dogs is a closed loop system it will correct for fuel mixture based on demand. If you are not modifying anything else cam,
intake ,displacement ,you may be ok.Just use pipes with or install Bungs on the system of your choice.
