Once again, I let the local weather girl talk me into ridin to work. 89 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, beautiful day to ride! 4:00 in the morning it's sprinkling a little bit. 5:00 and there's a clear spot over the area on radar, ( I'm callin B.S. on that!) 5:30 the day crew comes in, so I'm outta here. Made it within 11 miles from home, and guess what. It decides to cut loose and pour down on my sorry ass. pull in the shed, wipe the water off and head for the house. TA DA! It quits raining. But at least I got to ride, and no electrical problems! She's a good old dog, I'd like to find another just like her!

I spent hours polishing 3 bikes last week and then decided to mow the lawn. Left the garage door open and when I was done all 3 bikes were covered in grass and sand from the strong winds....

Makes me think of that stupid deodorant commercial where they shoot grass at the guy to see if his oits are dry....

Hell no, only real bikers would ride that far, I'm a wanna be biker, besides, the last place I wanna be on a bike is in front of my wife driving a truck. I might as well shoot myself

The very first date I took my wife on it poured down rain at 12 am. All us guys stayed until 2pm when the bar closed. It was still pour down rain. I said goodbye and left. The girlfriend (now wife) said you're crazy... I said I will never go out into the rain bit if it rains while I'm out i don't care. Cars were pulled off I-4 and we were doing 60 mph going home. It was a trip. At 4am one of the guys called and asked me to bring him my trailer so he could go home. I told him to man up and just ride. I told him if you want to be a biker then be a biker if not stay home... He's not my friend anymore....

If I'm not mistaken, I believe we pass right by Deltona when we go from Apopka to the beach at New Smyrna by way of I-4 ? Gonna have to file that back in the old memory bank! Don't get down that way often, but WILL try to make it happenAnd you are absolutely correct, one can't have too many friends! I consider a true friend as someone who, if something terrible happened to the wife and I, would take our kids and raise them as their own, I think I have several that fit the bill!
