It's probably your crank sensor, I had to replace mine when the bike would I believe overheat and it would just cut off after about 5 miles.

You may want to unplug your VR until you know whats up. Just in case it's your VR melting down and it just looks like a plug about to break. The bike will run it just won't charge and you won't have to worry about the VR taking out your Battery or Ehc

No that is the crank sensor that Willywill thought it might be. If it fails your bike will not run. You can get one at https://www.bigdogpartskingpin.com/ Great people and parts.

MikeinJersey I believe you help me with my crank sensor and that end up being the problem it ran me about 130 bucks including shipping and tax and I ordered it I believe from wild steed
