Playin with new toy

Ok so I took my carb off to clean it inside and out. Got to looking at it and decided to try out my new polisher on it.

This is the best stuff on the market for cleaning a carb or just about anything else!

Some pics after polishing with Tripoli Compound:



After using the Tripoli with the bench buffer and the corners with the dremmel it shined a whole lot better than ever before. It's nowhere near perfect but I was not in the mood for the time it was gonna take to do it 100%. That will be a project for this winter.

TRUE COLORS COLLISION
you have to sand the metal first and get it smooth down to like at least 1500 and then you can bring it too a chrome like finish with the polisher wheels,but if you dont have the correct polish to use you are gonna be shit outta luck..did you happen to read up anywhere on how to do this....polishing metal that is.......

I fixed a couple for you.

Try putting your camera on the "micro" setting when taking the closeups and they will focus. :2thumbs:
