Pin the map......

I know there use to be such a thing here but I think the software became obsolete and wasn't supported any more.
I would really like to know more BD owners in my area so that I could get some good quality ride time in with others who own the same style bike as I do when the weather breaks next summer.
Would this program work for this site???

Nice BB...... So what do you think? The tool looks pretty good to me. I just think the Mods should take a look and see if it can be intigrated into this forum / website.
I think it has to be compatible to work with the same program that the website uses. (I don't know JACK about how to run a website..... lol)
Then if it can run within the forum, then just make it a Sticky that everyone can access.
Not sure if I would Pin my home address per say, (don't want to incourage the crooks), but I would just Pin my home town.

This thread probably belongs in the feedback section.

That said, I always liked the map functionality (when it worked).

It was gone before I joined last March. I brought it up but was only told it was not longer applicable. This looks pretty cool! I pinned it! Sure would be nice to have this as part of the forum. Hint, Hint!!!!!!!!!

Like Ray said.......... Let's wait and let Tim take a look at it. If Tim can implement it into the forum, I'm sure he will create a seperate page just for the map.
I just posted the link so everyone could take a look at it. I think it would work out really well, but like I said before, I don't know anything about running a website, so I'm not sure if Tim can use it or not....... Let's hope he can. :up:

It would be nice to see everyone on the same map. Hopefully admin can get it done. I would definitely not use my home address. I'm not pointing out where a $30,000.00 plus bike is sitting, even though my garage is alarmed better than my house.
