I thought I would post some pic's of the ramp I use when I load my Bulldog up in the back of the truck. I used it when I hauled my bike to Kansas last year and it worked great...It is aluminum, folds in half or you can dis-assemble it into 6 pieces. Has straps to hold it to the bumper and straps that hold the sections together even though it is bolted together...

Your a braver man than I Neil. That ramp looks pretty steep. I'm sure it works but looks like it could be big trouble if it got away from ya.

How do you keep from scraping the bottom of the frame? My Ridgeback won't go on my "Direct lift" or work with the "black jack" jack with out some lifting of the ass end?

does your bike scrape?

i have a 24" x 14' aluminum truck ramp

heavy and awkward but solid as hell.

used it last monday

It is alright..Looks steep at first but you go right on up. My Bulldog is only 8 1/2 foot long and does not scrap. If you look in the first picture to the left of the truck you will see the backyard is uphill. If I back the truck over there it is almost a straight drive on then. I can push it on the truck in fact then...
I will put it up again sometime and take pics with the bike on it in the driveway and over on the hill...
That way you can see the clearances..
