First, I am a newby and very forum un-saavy. This is the first time I am posting on any forum and it is really out of neccessity. I own a '08 K9 that I bought new. I have had very few problems with it for 5500 miles: a loose inline clutch nut and my right-hand pcb board is acting up. The pcb board that my service dept. ordered three months ago from Big Dog failed to arrive due to the shutdown and by reading this forum I was able to locate the replacement kit at a vendor and it's on the way. It was kinda hard finding these parts and I feel pretty certain that I will be looking for parts for it in the future. Do any of you have some experience with these pcb boards that you may be able to provide? I will not be installing the boards myself because electricity hates me. I am interested in the failure rate of these boards so I can stock up if they are a continuing problem. I read about the EHC problems and I am planning to have a replacement for that very soon. Even though "NIGHT TRAIN" explained that the problem EHC's were all in the pre-2008 series, I do not wish to tempt fate. I live in southern AZ and like riding to Tombstone. Believe me, You do not want to be broken down and walking your custom ride down the highway. A group of cartel vatos will sweep down on you and leave you robbed, murdered and mutilated!
