Passenger pegs on K9 need help.

I'm wanting to install passenger pegs on my K9, so far I know I need, the pegs & clevis kit. Do I need an adaptor or something to clear my big radius pipes?? Or will it work without? & if I do, does it go on both sides or just the right side? Also, does anyone have a part number for this adaptor (if needed). Thanks, any help will be appreciated.

Matt, if you have the V&H 2-2 pipes you shouldn't need the clevis adapter, only with the 2-1 pipes is this needed for clearance. It probably is better to have the adapter on both sides for passenger comfort

Thanks! I'm getting ready to order everything but wasn't sure about the adapters. Crazy how much it costs just to have a rider, but I'm sure those

No kidding Matt by the time you buy pegs, a pad, a sissybar, and a sissy bar pad those titties in your back are expensive......but yeah worth every penny.

Decided not to go with sissy bar, my fender struts would have to be changed. She'll just have to hold on tighter. ;-)

Matt, did your bike come without the flush cap bolts on the struts, i thought that was standard on the 07 K9

Mine was an early 07, didn't come with the new fender struts. BUT!!! Since my last post I picked up a set on eBay for a decent price!! So I guess after all ill end up with a sissy bar too. I'm just glad it's all easily removable.
