PAINTING MY BIKE

Not the K-9, I just sold it. This is my other bike and I want to have it painted Black Cherry with a base and clear. The frame will not be painted. What do you think it would cost for all the pieces (8) to be painted? I will bring all the pieces to the painter.

Oh, your trying to disguise it to look like the ole K-9... :D Had to toy with ya! I think it'll be unique and a one off, good for you and good luck at getting it painted and I'll be first to guess... $3500.00 bucks

Damn....you're good at guessing. The painter wants 3K. I'm surprised it's that much.

I have $2,000 in my Prosport. Gold metal flake with color over it. No bags of fairing. Make sure you take it to someone who paints bikes. Not just anyone can get it right.

I sold the 08 streetglide 3 years ago when I picked up the 2012 cvo streetglide. I just put the picture up as a reference to the cost. Yea, like everything that I have sold I regret it..

If it is just one color and no body work, I would think closer to 1200-1600, depending on paints (HD/PPG/HOK) used.
