Just knock down the shine with a fine (white) scotch-brite pad.
Next time just use some SG-100. That's what Craig Fraser advised me to do on open primary belts.

Ed, are you saying clear with the SG-100 then knock the shine down or because it is a low solids intercoat clear it will not shine that much on rubber/leather?

No, just the intercoat and leave it. If you do a wet coat, it will be glossy. So do some dryer coats and it will dry dull.
I was saying scotch-brite the clear you have on it now to dull it out.
Sg-100 in the future.

So are you guys saying i could get some wild clown paint on my seat and it would last? If i did this i would prob. get another seat for most the riding but the painted seat for shows and bike events.I dont need a guarantee just a pretty sure it would be good i would gamble on the paint:hi:

I haven't tried painting a seat yet, but since I now have a two-up, I was planning on painting my solo seat and seeing how it holds up. I will let you know how it goes and post the results on here. Ed, thanks for the info. You are a wealth of info as always. Funny, you don't look that old, but you know so much! Keep on painting!
