Paint-related

Had an opportunity to do some painting, even though it wasn't on a bike. Guy wanted the engine compartment of his truck painted to match the truck. The engine compartment was raw sheet metal and starting to rust. So, cleaned, then bondo on everything to hide the seams, welds, etc. Then the paint.

Here's the truck

I added some "smoke/fire" to spruce up all the white, vanilla plain look.

Then added some color by painting the engine cover with a real fire look.

Customer was happy, it was fairly quick (except trying to mask around all the engine parts, hoses, gaps, etc.) though it was challenging trying to get coverage in nooks and crannies where the spray gun just didn't fit.

Very nice work, it looks like they would have painted the "tubs" to start with while doing the body mods to allow the slammed look.

No facebook or anything yet, but I do plan on constructing a website soon. Might generate some business.
