Pack Rest Back Plate

I am needing the dimensions of the back rest plate for the sissy bar. I am wanting to fabricate one myself using a different design then the ones that where sold by Big Dog. Any help would be appreciated.

I would just measure the bar where you want it.

What dims where you looking for?

The top to bottom dimension and the dimension across the top or bottom between the bars.

John, you might try tapeing a piece of posterboard or stiff cardboard to your bar where you want to mount the pad, and trace the outer edges of the bar for your desired size and shape. When you get it roughed out you can reattach the pattern w/tape to get an idea of how it will look. Just a thought, good luck with the project.
