I have a outer bearing support cover I got from Karata and have cut out a design, now I want to cut a layer off certain areas to make it look like two layers, I used a bit from my rotozip in a drill press and it is working, but I was thinking that a little harder / bigger bit that is meant for a milling machine would work better. Does anyone no what kind of bit I can use, and were I could get one. I no there are many different types, finishing bits etc. thank you in advance for any help.

What you need is an endmill, and try to get a high helix for aluminum.I'm not sure what tooling places you have in your area but we have production tool supply, or maybe a grainger. I have used a endmill in a drill press but I'm not proud of it.

Isn't it amazing how different some areas are when it comes to tooling. Here in Detroit area we can get about anything due to the auto industry...
