I don't think those ignition keys are that sophisticated, i would try some similar keys, worse case you have to replace ignition

I had a problem with my tumbler and lost a key one day when out on a ride. I took another similar key and had to work it for a little bit but got it to work. When i got home i put a new universal key in from Drag and never have had a problem sinse.

Thanks guys. Got lucky, friend of mine driving by with landscape trailer. Loaded up and in the garage. Think I will go grab a Harley switch. Anybody ever install a keypad switch?

Another option is to call Strokers and give them your vin number. They can probably get a couple from BD Performance for around $9 a piece.

Way to much effort in this actually,,, If the switch is the same switch that was on my 2004 the key to an Exmark lawn mower will start it !!! ah and even better you can take the key out and the bike still running and put it back in the mower,, I am glad I changed my switch when I did the Wire plus..

The best solution is to keep a second key hidden on the bike (or yourself) for situations like that! It's cheaper and makes far more sense than installing a keypad, changing ignition switches, or installing a WirePlus...
