OPEN BELT DRIVE ??

I have been looking for a open primary for over a year now.It seems they never come up for sale. I hate the thought of paying the shot of retail. Would much rather take the second bite of the apple if you know what I mean. Baker and Karata seem to be the only two choices. Does anybody know of any other unit that will work? BDL makes many belt drives. Just my 2 cents but.......most belt drives I've heard make alot of noise, look cool but clutch plates seem to chatter a bit and cost about $2000.

I did look at BDL ,but it seemed they didn't have anything for the dog due to the dssc starter and proprietary back plate.
