Guy's before you slaughter me on here about posting a custom bike builder please hear me out. I am a die hard Big Dog owner and always will be. I am a relative newbie to this site and am not familiar with what is exceptable and what is not. If mentioning another builders name on here is inapropriate please let me know and I will edit this post.

This is not an ad to get anyone to call and have a hardtail made I assure you. Everyone is always looking for another place to find parts and such and for those of us here in no where this may help out.

Corey is the owner of Oklahoma Hardtails and he brags highly about how impressed he is with the quality Big Dog puts into there machines from the S&S motors to the Baker tranny.

He informed me the other day that he finally got the deal he has been working on and that is he is now a full blown S&S Dealer. I am in the middle of a complete rebuild and upgrade and he has been awesome to deal with on getting me gaskets and parts from S&S.

He is located here in Ponca City, Ok and it is really awesome to have a S&S dealer here in the middle of no where. This just might be another place to get your hands on parts when you need them for your ole S&S or something custom done for the dog. They work on anything and build anything.

call Corey or Shae
580-763-6000
If you tell them Herb sent you
it might get you a little off your order.

Ed, They have a face book page at this time under Oklahoma Hardtails. They are working right now getting there web site up and running. It will have all there stuff available on line shortly. For now it is either call them or walk in and see them to order. I will find out when they expect there web site to be up and running.

Allen, what town do you live in. I am always looking for dog owners to ride with around Ponca.

Shane is his tech in the shop and that is a wiring geanuos. They are both die hard bike lovers and riders so it is cool to have them around because when I talk to them about my project they know exactly what and why I am doing it instead of just selling a part over the counter or treating you like just a customer.

I was in there shop the other day and what impressed me the most was a guy walked in and was talking about getting a bike built. The guy wanted this and that and Corey told him . Sounds like you want a Big Dog. The guy asked how do figure. Corey said that is exactly what a big dog is. Soft tail, 300 rear tire, S&S motor, and Baker tranny. He said we could build it for you but unless you want it really tweeked you could just go up to BDM and buy the bike today. Corey told him we build anything just our specialty is bobbers and hard tails. I just think for what you are wanting I would recomend going to BDM.

When the guy left I asked Corey why he did it. He said 90% of the guy's that want a soft tail have seen a BDM and that is what they want. He said when we build soft tails it is a custom 1 of a kind bike. He said when they come in telling how they want this and that they are decribing a bike that is already out there. He said that he felt BDM was a hell of a bike because the quality parts they use and highly recomends them when guy's want a soft tail that sounds just like a BDM I will tell you it felt good to hear a man brag about my ride instead of bash it and try to put me on one of his..
