Thats the one that came stock with mine but I would guess that any major motorcycle mail order catalog would have it.yes the tappet screen bolt, but mine is a slotted screw,i want to replace it with the bolt you have ray.. where can i get that?
Shit, he's pratically around the corner.looks like a keansburg rat!
pretty close to us.
you can buy a slotted socket at sears.
My hex is a regular socket. I think your mistaken it for a torqs head.If you buy the socket it will be called a "drag Link" socket. But if you're going to switch to the hex head plug I don't know that I would buy the socket for a one time use. Just my thought![]()

That'd be to easy.:bang: :bang:instead of putting in a hex head, why not just go ahead and put in an oil pressure guage and kill two birds with one stone????????????/
Their getting smarter at the puppy mill. Those tappet nuts are a pain in the ass to get off without that tool. I'm glad they went to the hex nuts.Rainman you are correct. I was talking about a socket that has a 11/16" blade like a screwdriver like in your picture. Its used in heavy truck front ends on the drag links.
The 08 has hex heads on all three plugs now FYI
Thanks V
East Brunswickyeah im a burger..sul and cc where you guys located? middletown?
Your better off changing all thos enuts out to the hex ones. Make life a lot easier.cc, thanks for offering your tool but there are other slotted nuts on the bike so im probobly better off just picking a tool up..but thanks anyway.. jim
